Fjording around

Started the afternoon with a tour around Stavanger. On the left, Tore Laerdal, the head of Laerdal Medical telling the group about Norway. The row houses date back to the 18th century and were used by merchants traveling by sea.

Made it to the harbor with this dysfunctional group. The buildings surrounding the harbor were built with the overhangs so goods could be shipped in by boat and hoisted up from the street to the attacks.

This dude faces due north. He's number 2 of 22 "brass men" in Norway. Others are placed in houses, school classrooms, and one is even chest deep in the North Sea. The other dude is Pratik excited about boarding a boat.

Anchor up! and we headed for Lysefjord.

Left- Ashley and Michael
Bottom Left - Barrett, Brock, and Jan
Bottom Right - Anant and Dr. Acharya

Josh looking pretty pumped after seeing a wild mountain goat. Matt claims they're placed in the fjords for the summer months then picked up every winter, really hoping that's not true.

Fresh spring waterfall, filling up buckets to drink. Mad driving skills by our captain. Apologies for the camera work.

Viking onshore. Best seats in the house for dinner. Awesome seafood.

Dancing to MJ. Almost 9pm in this pic but doesn't get dark here for another 2 hours.
